Q. I have been working for some years now to dissociate my self-identification from the frail, imperfect and fault-prone human personality, and transfer my sense of who 'I' am to the real spiritual being trying to assert its presence here through this body and mind. Same thing for all the name tags we put on everything around us in nature, etc., just more veils and obstacles hiding the Real thing from our inner perceptions.
A. Almost everyone on this planet is under the spell of the comsic delusion, especially those who consider themselves very 'spiritual'.
Until one can truly See by opening the eyes of the soul, nothing in this world of delusion is what it seems to be.
Q. Ah!... the Maya...
A. Maya, Samsara=illusion or the Great Lie. There are so many people in the world who are now seeking to 'do good,' but they are not aware that dualistic 'good' actually feeds evil. Dualistic 'goodness' is the polarity of dualistic evil. The two poles perpetuate Maya, keeping each other alive.
Until we cease to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of evil and good, we cannot return to Paradise. Ponder on this, particularly in the light of all the frantic meditations that are going on in the name of world-peace etc. (worldly, dualistic 'goodness').
Precious few human beings truly understand what is occurring
today. Feeding the poor, spiritual concerts, social reforms, world-peace
meditations are all but feathers in a cyclone. Once we understand the
extent and power of delusion on this planet, we shall begin to appreciate
the dire and very urgent need for right understanding.
Q. As a result of the positive transformations in consciousness that I have undergone due to my imbibing of the Truth in your teachings I have recently observed a growing derision arising from people whom I used to believe were my friends. They seem to want me to go to their level of beliefs and consciousness and are of the typical new age mindset that everyone is equal and so should be included in a spiritual work, whoever and wherever they are. Please tell me, does your group work with just anyone who has an interest in spiritual things, as do so many new age groups today?
A. Our Work cannot be truly comprehended by the majority of people in the world and it would be misconstrued at best and slandered and harmed at worst if we exposed it to the mass of humanity. It requires much more than merely an interest in spiritual things to be a part of a Gnostic Labor. We are not seeking to work with egos who are merely seeking to philosophically agree or disagree or to be mentally or psychically stimulated. Such attitudes are not in the spirit of true Seeking. People harboring such attitudes often demonstrate that they are seeking not for Truth (which, since it is ever new, must always replace existing belief systems), but rather they are seeking for support of what is already 'known' to them or, at best, to extend their dualistic knowledge based on their existing, precious (to them) but very limited understanding. Truth they seek is a Living Body or Reality, a divine power-field that always evades mankind as far as the mortal consciousness is concerned (and this is why it cannot be apprehended by the fallen, dualistic faculties of man). Such a living, changing noumenon cannot be agreed or disagreed with by the intellect. To do so is to miss the Truth entirely.
The multiplicity of ideas in which most people are today drowning is more apparent than ever before amidst so much psychic agitation and in-fact-uation which is being demonstrated and broadcast all around the world. All throughout the ages, art, science, religion and government have been co-operating with a view to guiding the world and the human race by similar ideas, but this has only resulted in increasing mankind's confusion, leading us up to the present state of the world which essentially corresponds to a planetary asylum for the spiritually insane!
We do not intend to provide spiritually-seeking mankind with interesting entertainment, or to weary people with yet another new teaching, belief system or philosophy, as do so many other groups and organizations already in existence.
If we were to contribute in this way, it would only conduce toward the general world-confusion, which we certainly do not wish to do. We are not concerned with preaching a certain doctrine supported by theories, hypotheses or external authorities; with reasoning out that doctrine intellectually, then defending and praising it. To the contrary, the purpose of one of the aspects of our work is to endeavour to liberate our students from all superfluous hubbub by placing before them esoteric facts which are actually as old as the planet. We address ourselves to the wandering, seeking human being who is groping about in spiritual darkness, in order to awaken him! We come to mankind with a vital message, and with a Call.
He who understands this Call and who follows it will gradually enter an entirely new field of life from which he can draw a wondrous power, providing he is longing to serve the world and mankind by means of that power and to thus help to uplift humanity into the light of Reality. This he will be able to do when he understands and responds to the Call by employing the original divine principle that lies sleeping within his heart.
Agreeing and disagreeing is for philosophers (who do not
use their divine principle in the heart to seek Truth, and this is why
they remain just philosophers), and, as you may know, "philosophers die
confused" and unfulfilled. There is no time to waste with philosopher-seekers,
for we are in the Sifting Time that precededs the end of this cycle.
THE GROUP CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE DIVINE SOUL
Q. Why do so few people in the world respond positively to the Call of the Gnosis?
A. Spiritual lethargy is a worldwide epidemic, even in the 'spiritual/psychic' arena.
When the Truth is seen together, hearts are united. However, precious few that we have met (including Servers) actually demonstrate the divine ethos of a unity consciousness; alas, they are not automatically galvanized to unite when the truth of the times (and the vibration of the Gnosis) is transmitted to them. This indicates that they are still fast asleep and serving the prince of this world. Every divine Soul, being naturally group-conscious, always wants to unite and serve the Plan with every other 'individualized' Spirit-spark. When the divinely-aligned soul espies an opportunity for group service it literally jumps for joy, as a new and vital impulse courses throughout its consciousness, impelling it with the greatest alacrity to spring forth into greater effort and purpose. Thus does the wise soul proceed ever deeper into the Mystery of God. Therefore, when an individual does not respond positively to the Call, it means that such a person does not yet have contact with his or her own divine Soul.
Q. Regarding your logo: my first impression was of the silver chalice/vessel of truth with humans caught up in a hamster wheel at the bottom, while at the top was the narrow gateway to God through which we can pass if we ever escape the hamster wheel. I know, of course, that I have probably totally missed the real message.
A. You are not incorrect.
However, there is much more in the symbol. We have had possibly 50 different
interpretations of the symbol over the years, yet not one has been inaccurate.
The symbol fell into our awareness years ago in an instant. It comes from the causal level of consciousness, and this is why it is interpreted differently by various people and yet always gives an appropriate message. Its message also changes depending on one's state of consciousness. It is a living symbol, and it reveals to anyone with eyes to see the nature of our Work and What we represent. It is our insignia - our calling card if you will - for this particular mission on Earth, although it embraces a universal pattern and design.
Q. Whoever doesn't want a living master gets stuck.
A. Some might disagree with this idea from the past.

The essential nature of the Plan may be regarded esoterically as a great and sovereign Thought that was conceived within the Mind of God at the beginning of Creation, and which has since been constantly expanding and developing. This Cosmic Idea is an integral part of the Universal Divine Plan of Evolution for all life throughout Infinity. Its particular form of expression, as it influences our world, is ever being adjusted to integrate appropriately with the current cycle of development so that it may correspond with and assist the specific level of consciousness demonstrated by humanity at its particular stage of spiritual unfoldment.
Our solar system is entering a new magnetic field in the galaxy at this time and a quickening of the planetary vibration is occurring as a result. This is responsible for new and adjusted spiritual laws coming into play on Earth and human consciousness is being affected. Energies which have in the past been utilised for and even promoted self-cultivation, self-liberation, etc. are being withdrawn as a new evolutionary phase for humanity is being entered, and as the new world-paradigm and consciousness shifts into that of service to others.
Today, the first glow of the new world consciousness is emerging in the Western world, for it is destined that the Western races will move forward in the Aquarian age into spiritual pre-eminence, without obliterating the Eastern contribution, and the functioning of the Law of Reincarnation holds a clue to this necessary cyclic pattern. The tide of life moves from east to west as moves the sun, and those souls who in past centuries excelled in Eastern mysticism, are back again today as compassionate servants of the race, happily embracing the more advanced principles and laws that pertain to Western esotericism.
The new humanity emerging today is equipped with special senses, among them being those of perceiving the nature of the emotions and thoughts of others, and clairvoyant and prescient faculties are more developed in them than has generally been the case heretofore. Therefore, the techniques of developing the consciousness of mankind in the next planetary phase of development will be more advanced than those used in the past. They will not be the same as those hitherto employed in the East, which have motivated the new teachings that are today emerging in the West. This does not mean that the earlier methods were not correct or appropriate. It is such that the capabilities and understanding of the person in the Aquarian age are so relatively advanced that the past methods simply no longer apply to them, just as the fundamentals of arithmetic taught in elementary school fail to aid in the progress of the college graduate. These preparatory lessons were necessary in the early stages; the power or the ability to divide, subtract, multiply and add were conferred, but it is the power and the ability themselves that are now being used by the new race, and not the exercises. These developed faculties, together with true spiritual understanding, are used not in efforts made toward self-advancement, but in service to humanity and the world.
The Aquarian age brings with it new and adjusted laws for the advanced progress of mankind in various fields, and these laws are perfectly suited to the expanding world-consciousness today. As the whole planet moves onto its next and highest turn of the evolutionary spiral, humanity is being exhorted by the new laws and by the divine Agents who implement them, to realise unity and true spiritual fellowship a new and harmonious way of being. Such an ideal is not only possible in this concluding period of the Piscean era, but is also a prerequisite for the redemption and healing of both the Earth and mankind.
Many of the old ways of religious thinking and living have proven to create more problems than solutions, and those individuals who will aid in the emergence of the new world consciousness are now readily relinquishing the old methods altogether and are turning whole-heartedly toward the new presentations of truth. A great change of attitude is underway throughout the world and it is being recognised, particularly in the West, that the old ways of self-oriented spiritual advancement no longer apply as they once did, and that the search for personal enlightenment cannot be a part of the new world- ethic. In the new era selfish spiritual ambition will be entirely superseded by earnest dedication to the collective good. Those who are awakening today to the need for change have learned from the old ways and they are ready to surrender them for something much more currently significant, vital, opportune and expansive. Intelligent humanity is now ready to transcend blind faith and the need for external objects of worship, religious intermediaries, techniques of self-liberation and complex philosophical ideals. These methods are simply no longer serving the present spiritual needs of mankind. A growing number of aware and thinking people in the world today are recognising that personality must give way to impersonality, self must yield to Spirit if peace is ever to reign upon Earth, and it is these awakening individuals who comprise the critical mass which shall enable the New World Consciousness to be born and to become permanently established.
A special and distinguishing mark of a member of the New Race is a recognition of the great need for unity, that prime ingredient that enables spiritual fellowship to be realised, and which necessitates discrimination, compassion and self-sacrifice. The essence of action by the new race will be the union of many to achieve a single and humanitarian goal, not the dominance by one who is looked up to as a guru or saviour.
Today, the appointed emissaries of various bodies of servers continue to incarnate upon the physical plane on Earth in merciful answer to the prayers and needs of humanity. They are presently finding their positions, and will soon exemplify that the Law of Service is the governing law of the future for planet Earth. In past ages it has been the service of one's own soul, with the emphasis upon one's own individual salvation, that engrossed the attention of the spiritual aspirant; naught else was considered. Then came the period wherein the service of a spiritual master, or guru, and also of one's own soul, was considered of dominant interest; the master was served and duty to him emphasised, because thereby the salvation of the individual was aided. Now a new note is sounding forth in the world, the note of growth through the service of the race, through cultivated self-forgetfulness and through group-communion with the Divine. Teachers and gurus are not utilised today in the same unthinking and acquiescent way as in past times, for the Truth is now being sought and found directly within while in active group-service.
As we are moving forward into an era of greater intelligence, dogmatic belief and blind faith are becoming redundant in the revealing light of true understanding, direct knowing and spiritual experience. The true and innermost impulse of mankind has ever been to serve and obey the Greater Self - the Spirit - and this is beginning to be more widely appreciated today. In the past, however, this simple truth has been distorted by church authorities, extremists, fundamentalists, scholars, etc., and has produced the multifarious formulas of spiritual philosophy and religious theology. These formulas veil the Truth; they have been presented to the consideration of mankind in terms of personality devotions and of obedience to masters, leaders, deities, religious systems and established organisations instead of fidelity and service to the One Spirit in all. Such false presentations of the Ageless Wisdom must and will change in the Aquarian age, and it will be appreciated that spiritual insight, expanding vision, intelligent and positive control of one's destiny and the development of consciousness are the results of efforts made by using one's own initiative; never have they been the outcome of blindly following the recommendations of others or their doctrines.
The grasping nature of many prayers, based as they are upon personal desire, are regarded as disturbing, impractical and inexpedient by a growing proliferation of those who recognise the truth today. The vagueness of meditations taught and practised both in the East and in the West, and their emphatically selfish note, e.g., to gain peace, liberation for oneself, personal healing and empowerment, etc. is likewise causing frustration and revolt for want of something bearing greater wholeness and spiritual substance. The order of the day is not for personal enlightenment, nor even the search for greater personal happiness, but for intelligent preparation for the imminent world-initiation.
Q. Why is having a teacher going to be superseded by this new order?
Perhaps a real spiritual guide is one of the Divine Agents spoken of in this piece.
This has a wonderful vision, but it begs the question of just how, specifically, all this is going to come about.
"Behold - I make all things new!"
A. This is a very broad question and in order to receive the answer to it in a comprehensive and so satisfactory way one requires to understand something of the larger picture, which includes evolutionary cycles of time, how this earth fits in with the spiritual advancement of other worlds in its interdimensional neighborhood, what the governing Body of Servants of Earth-humanity have in mind (so to speak), what the governing Body of Servants of pan-humanity have in mind, the science of the cyclic radiation laws and zodiacal processions that affect our local solar body, end time necessities, the state of this planet today and the corresponding inevitabilities, etc., etc.
In other words to understand something of this bigger picture and how worlds and planetary races undergo certain quite radical changes under the Law at the close of each major cycle (such as the one in which we live today), one needs to broaden one's vision to embrace not only personal enlightenment - via the agency of a master Teacher or otherwise - but a more cosmic, holistic and so inclusive perspective.
As you can see, then, this subject is rather immense and cannot fairly be summarized in one short essay. Indeed, countless treatises have been written about these things, past and present. Much is also written about the subject in both The New Call & Servers of the Divine Plan.
